Sobrino-Manzanares presented his PhD Thesis “Bidirectional DC-DC conversion, multidevice, multiphase, controlled by FPGA with soft commutation and dynamic reconfiguration of power transistors”


fernandoFernando Sobrino-Manzanares presented on October 26th 2016 his defense of the PhD Thesis entitled “Bidirectional DC-DC conversion, multidevice, multiphase, controlled by FPGA with soft commutation and dynamic reconfiguration of power transistors”. Dr. Ausias Garrigós has been the supervisor of the PhD Thesis.

The relevant challenges achieved in this Thesis have been centered in the development of a new conversion topology for DC electric energy, and the development of new techniques for controlling power semiconductor devices for applications in medium and high power, and with high reliability requirements.
