  • Ability to integrate technologies and develop systems,
  • Ability to analyze, characterize and optimize devices,
  • Ability to model, analyze , optimize and solve real problems and systems in Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering,
  • Ability to learn and apply techniques of scientific writing in engineering, and to communicate and disseminate new related knowledge,
  • Ability to understand and apply the procedures for access to sources of information,

It is considered to be the recommended profile to enter the TECNIT PhD Program as a University Máster in Research on Industrial & Telecommunications Technology, currently offered at UMH. Access is direct from this Master and does not require any additional education.

Other profiles that are equally condidered as adequate are those corresponding to the fields of Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering. In particular, the following oficial Masters offered at UMH:

Other oficial Masters in the fields of Engineering or Sciences, from UMH or form another university, can be also considered as adequate profiles to enter TECNIT PhD Program, as long as they provide enough competence in the specific fields of the Doctoral Program, i.e., Electronics, Automation, Networks, Communications, Photonics, or Energy Proccessing.

Admission require trainingof at least 6 ECTS credits in interdisciplinary research activities and their financing, containing at least the following descriptors: Key characteristics of the production process and scientific dissemination. Systems for information retrieval. Evaluation of research. Measuring the quality of scientific activity. Ethics in research activity. Research funding. Preparation of research projects. Career research..

In case the Master title does not contain such training, this will be done in a specific UMH course devoted to this subject.

In all cases, the TECNIT Academic Committee will be in charge if evaluating the applications and thier correspondence with the admission profile. This Committee is composed by the following members of the Promoter Group:
